Theme 'Moving Together'
On Sunday, September 15, we celebrate World Alzheimer's Day in the Amstelland region. The time to draw extra attention to Alzheimer's disease and all other forms of dementia. The theme is 'Moving together'. Moving gives pleasure, less stress and is healthy for the brain. We hope to get many people with dementia and their loved ones moving. Will we see you too?

Location: Athletics Association Startbaan, Startbaan 1a, Amstelveen
After a summer filled with sports, such as the Tour de France, the European Championships and the Olympic Games, on TV, community sports coach Mieke Regelink will get us moving this Sunday. She does this in a catchy, enthusiastic way with a nod to the Olympic Games.
There will also be an opportunity to play Old Dutch games with each other this afternoon. Who doesn't know them? Shuffleboard, throwing cans, four in a row....
After exertion, there is also plenty of relaxation. While enjoying a snack and a drink, Greetje de Ouden will play festive music in various styles on her accordion. That is sure to be enjoyed.
