The Financial Café is person-to-person, anonymous, independent, knowledgeable and in a safe environment. Everyone is welcome for free support with questions about money or administrative matters. We do not record any data and you will be helped immediately. There is no need to make an appointment in advance.

You can ask your questions regarding topics such as:

  • (Learning) to organize financial records;
  • Creating a monthly budget with income and expenses;
  • Inventory any debts and arrears; are payment arrangements realistic?
  • Support in applying/filling out (digital) forms; e.g., waivers, special assistance, WMO benefits, UWV benefits;
  • Help with reading letters/explaining the content of letters;
  • Information on documents to be retained and retention periods;
  • Referral to agencies and mediation;
  • Support in applying for welfare benefits from the municipality or SVB;
  • Use of computer, printer and copier. Consider: filling out forms digitally, requesting information, important websites;
  • Help with applying for a DigiD;
  • Applying for Benefits and doing simple pre-completed tax returns
  • and many other things........
