Poppodium Bovenkerk

Poppodium Bovenkerk is an initiative of the Bovenkerk Foundation and its main goal is to allow starting and experienced musicians to perform together during busy events. The pop stage is run entirely by volunteers, some of whom have professional backgrounds as music teachers and/or musicians. For the events, the team collaborates with rehearsal spaces, music schools and music teachers in the Amstelveen area. The Noorddamcentrum is the home base of Poppodium Bovenkerk.

Poppodium Bovenkerk presents....

Poppodium Bovenkerk organizes band nights such as 'Spring Pop' (first Saturday night in April) and 'Autumn Pop' (first Saturday night in October). During these band nights, regional bands perform on 2 stages in the main hall of the Noorddamcentrum. In addition, Poppodium Bovenkerk provides the music program for Zomerfeest Bovenkerk.

The volunteer team plans to organize more activities, such as jazz performances, jam sessions and band coaching. For that, follow facebook of Poppodium Bovenkerk.
