It will be all fun again in Bovenkerk, for everyone who enjoys bargain hunting! On Saturday, Sept. 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be a Rommelroute in Bovenkerk. On this day residents will sell their second-hand and/or homemade goodies from their own garden, driveway, garage or shed.
The map below shows all participating residents. The map is refreshed regularly. Clicking on the map brings up an easy-to-read image to enlarge.
All streets may participate. It is a great opportunity to meet each other (again) and make old contacts and new contacts in the neighborhood. For those who do not have a place at home may find a place outside at the VOKA building and bring their own rug or table, but full is full!

You can sign up until Sept. 9 to participate via our special email address rommelroute@bovenkerk.me. Then you and your address will appear on the Route Map, so visitors will know where to get the bargains. You can pick up the paper Road Map at the Noorddam Center by then. The Route Map can also be downloaded from Event Facebook.
GAME RULES
What is allowed
- sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- secondhand stuff and homemade stuff;
- display your stuff on your own property: front yard, backyard, shed, garage or driveway;
- Offer something to eat or drink (free of charge) to make it more sociable;
- make or perform music, provided it is not disruptive to bystanders, neighbors or visitors.
What not to do
- commercial sales.
Tips
- invite everyone you know to come to the Rommelroute; share it e.g. on Facebook;
- Promote your own "stall" on your Facebook page;
- Stick the poster on your window so everyone can see that you are participating;
- Decorate your home, garden, table or stall, this will attract more attention;
- Get your neighbors excited so you'll be on the street with more stalls.
