The Parkinson's Café is an accessible meeting place for people with Parkinson's disease(s), their partners, family members and caregivers. In a relaxed atmosphere they can connect with other fellow sufferers. The Café is an initiative of the Parkinson(ism) Association.

Detours through the Parkinsonian brain
People with Parkinson's disease and their loved ones interact with each other using video animations and conversation cards. You discuss situations that are difficult in thinking and how you can get around that with detours. People with Parkinson's disease appear to be very creative in this respect. We can learn a lot from each other!
You shouldn't be surprised if you come home with detours you haven't yet thought of on your own. We hope we can make your obstacles in thinking a little easier by consciously applying detours. That's what everyone wants, right?
