An exciting and educational meeting was held at the Noorddam Center on Oct. 15. At the invitation of the Sustainability Committee of Bovenkerk Foundation, Jimmy Kok and Stef de Horde presented their green graduation projects to committee members and other interested parties, including family members of the two gentlemen.
Living together in balance
Jimmy graduated as a landscape designer from Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences. A true storyteller with his graduation project, he brought the story of a future where man and nature live together in balance.
Nature-inclusive cities
'Residents as driving forces for nature-inclusive cities' was the topic of the master thesis with which Stef completed his degree in Landscape Architecture at TU Delft. His personal motivation is to create imagination for a sustainable and more equitable future.
It was an inspiring evening and the presentations provided interesting topics for discussion. Several points were noted with which the committee can work in Bovenkerk .
