Many people have received a request from the Tax and Customs Administration to file their tax returns for 2025 before May 1 of this year. Do you need help filling out your tax forms? You can have your tax return completed by a volunteer from the Bovenkerk Residents' Platform free of charge or for a small fee. Any healthcare and rent allowances will also be checked.

Until 2026, members of the KBO could use the tax return assistance service. The KBO has discontinued this service. The Bovenkerk Residents' Platform Bovenkerk decided to take over this task from the KBO. KBO members who already used this service will, in principle, continue to receive the same assistance with completing their tax returns as before. However, new customers are also welcome. You do not need to be a member of the KBO to use this service. In principle, the assistance is free of charge. A small fee may be charged for travel expenses and for printing and copying documents.

During March and April, all seniors are welcome to visit the Noorddamcentrum on Wednesday mornings between 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Someone will be there to assist you. If you are unable to visit the Noorddamcentrum, you can also contact us by email (bpbovenkerk@gmail.com) or telephone (020-3455876). Someone will then visit you at home.

The tax return assistance service is primarily intended for simple tax returns filed by elderly people with relatively low incomes and assets. The tax return assistants are well informed about common situations, such as deductions for healthcare costs and donations. They receive annual training in existing and new regulations.
