Bovenkerk is known as a colorful Amstelveen neighborhood with a village character. In this neighborhood, many residents seek to connect with each other and a variety of associations are active. Many volunteers from Bovenkerk, but also from beyond, dedicate themselves to the 'Pearl on the Poel'. To put these volunteers in the limelight, the Enjoy! Foundation made it possible for them to attend the musical 'Nummer 14' about the life of Johan Cruijff.

Hans Pappot, administrator of the Noorddam Center, has been given the opportunity by Martijn Heus of the Enjoy! Foundation the opportunity to invite persons in Bovenkerk who are active as volunteers or play a role in club life, to attend the AFAS theater in Leusden on Tuesday, February 13, as VIP guests to enjoy 'Nummer 14' the musical about Johan Cruijff. This musical is now running for the third year and has already attracted more than 200,000 visitors.
160 people
As many as 160 people who are active in Bovenkerk as volunteers or play a role in association life have responded to this invitation. With a coach and a string of cars they will travel to Leusden on February 13. From 7 p.m. they will be welcomed with a drink in the foyer of the AFAS theater. The show will start with a performance by the Kickers after which the musical about the life of Johan Cruijff will begin. The evening will end pleasantly with a drink.
About the Enjoy! Foundation
The Enjoy! Foundation from Amstelveen has the mission to make sure that no child should walk around with a stomach ache anymore when accompanied by an adult. They want to help children with everything they do not learn or get along with at school. Every child should have a mentor. Someone who walks with the child for a while, someone who gives the child confidence so that their self-confidence can grow. To give all children this chance, Martijn Heus, Wim Scholten & Joy Ellen Bos founded the Enjoy! Foundation.
