Who is band coaching for?
Band coaching sessions are for anyone who plays an instrument and/or sings and wants to progress.For young and old. Whether you are in lessons or not. With your whole band or just to connect with other musicians.
What does band coaching entail?
After registering, you will be assigned to a group of like-minded and age-matched musicians or join your own band. Under the guidance of a professional band coach, you will work on covers and/or your own songs. The (composed) band can consist of bass guitar, guitar/guitars, drums, keyboard/piano and/or an wind instrument and of course vocals. The band coach is Joris van der Sande, teacher at Music Center Logblock. Joris is 25 years old. He is from Amstelveen, but now lives in Utrecht where he studies 'Music andTechnology'.
What does it cost and what do I get in return?
The cost is 300 euros for 10 90-minute sessions, concluding with a performance at the Noorddam Center at the Young Urbanus festival.
When and where?
Classes take place on Friday afternoons between 2 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. at the Noorddam Center in Bovenkerk (times by arrangement).
