On Tuesday, April 9, two days before World Parkinson's Day, the Sezu (Samenwerking EerstelijnsZorg Uithoorn), the Ontmoetingsgroepen Uithoorn and the Parkinson(isme) vereniging will organize a Parkinson's Café, from 15:30 - 17:30 hours in Wijkcentrum Bilderdijkhof, Bilderdijkhof 1 in Uithoorn.

A Parkinson Café is a place where people with Parkinson(ism), their loved ones and other interested parties can meet and exchange experiences. Information is also provided about Parkinson's disease and Parkinsonism. All this in an informal and relaxed atmosphere while enjoying coffee, tea or a soft drink.

This Parkinson's Café will focus on Parkinson's and the future, including a discussion with a patient and a family caregiver. Care providers such as the occupational therapist, physiotherapist, speech therapist, dietician, remedial therapist, Parkinson's nurse, pharmacist, family doctor, Questio and Mantelzorg & Meer (part of Uithoorn voor Elkaar) will tell what support is possible to ensure that you can continue to do the things you find important for as long as possible.

You are welcome, no registration is necessary. The hall will be open from 3:15 p.m. and an attractive goodie bag will be available after the event upon return of the survey (gone = gone).
