Invitation to (new) residents in Bovenkerk
On Saturday, September 5, we invite (new) residents of Bovenkerk to come meet us. We’ll be hosting a get-together with refreshments from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Noorddamcentrum, Noorddammerweg 1 in Bovenkerk.
Food Festival Bovenkerk
Following that, we’ll be hosting the second edition of the FOODFESTIVAL BOVENKERK from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. It promises to be a wonderful and special day. With the help of several chefs and volunteers, we’ll be serving appetizers from around the world—small dishes such as tapas, mezze, antipasto, sushi, zakoeski, or finger food.
All activities are designed to help people get to know each other and socialize while enjoying some snacks and drinks.
Bovenkerk Food Festival: General Information
In the Bovenkerk , one out of every two residents has an immigrant background. There are significant cultural differences among us, which means we don’t tend to seek each other out very often. The “ Bovenkerk ” Foundation wants to address this, and following last year’s success, this is the second edition of the food festival, with a special focus on new neighborhood residents.
Residents can meet one another over snacks and drinks at the Noorddamcentrum on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Everyone from Bovenkerk and the surrounding area is welcome to attend. Dishes from all over the world will be served. The admission fee is just €5.00 per person. This includes one drink at the bar and free access to all the food.
