Monique Thoonsen
Monique holds degrees in physical therapy and pedagogy. She specialized in sensory stimulus processing and wrote four books on the subject: the Wiggle and Fidget series. She was diagnosed with parkinson's disease in 2021. As both an expert by experience and a healthcare professional, she now supervises teams supporting people with parkinson's. Soon she noticed that many people lack knowledge about the possible symptoms in parkinson's. She decided to list all the symptoms in an orderly manner, all with practical tips. Monique Thoonsen is author of the Handbook of Parkinson's Symptoms.
