What is a walking stop?
Ever wanted to hike, but not by yourself? The hiking stop is an initiative to meet other hikers. Like you, they too do not want to walk alone. The walking stop Bovenkerk is a kind of bus stop, but then to start walking. The walking stop is located at the entrance to the Amsterdam forest in Bovenkerk (opposite Silversant). If you want to walk with others, you can meet them there at the times listed on the sign. These are: 09:30, 11:00, 14:00 and 16:00.

Hiking buddy
Walking together is an easy step to get more exercise while having a chat. At the Walking Stop you can find a buddy. Walking with a buddy keeps you going longer than without a buddy.
Starts on April 5
The festive inauguration of the Wandelhalte Bovenkerk will be on Saturday, April 5. There is a program for that day that differs from the times listed on the walk stop. We will walk with a guide that day, it is for all ages and completely free. We hope to see you with your walking shoes that day.
