This afternoon is for people who experience mobility challenges as a result of conditions such as Parkinson's, MS, ADCA, stroke, or rheumatism. It doesn't matter whether you can walk or need a walker or wheelchair. We will all start dancing while seated.
The most important thing is dancing together. Dancing is so much more than just moving. Imagination and the rhythm of the music make moving so much more enjoyable (and easier) to do. What's more, dancing with a whole group or with a partner gives you a feeling of togetherness and extra energy. Everyone can participate at their own level. No one is perfect, but everyone is unique.
We're going to let loose to music from the 70s with discotheque Charly and instructions from classical dancer and physical therapist Hugo. Rhythmic and free dancing with lots of fun expected. These are the ingredients for experiencing the joy of movement and what it can do for you, for your fitness, coordination, balance, flexibility, strength, posture, and equilibrium. Everyone can participate, regardless of age and mobility. Experience is not necessary, but is welcome.
You are most welcome. Please register in good time!
