A musical day for everyone!
At a time when everything is getting more expensive, our Choir Day remains an affordable and versatile day out. Made possible in part by BeSharp, a specialist in optimizing your software costs, the Bovenkerk Foundation, and the Amstelidee Foundation.
Elly Meekel is in charge of the organization, with support from the enthusiastic members of the AdHoc pop choir.
Starting at 10:15 a.m., music will fill the Noorddamcentrum, located at Noorddammerweg 1 in Amstelveen, for seven hours! Fourteen choirs with more than 300 performers will present a varied program.
From pop, jazz, and barbershop to Japanese and Turkish songs and well-known Dutch sing-alongs. You’ll hear small ensembles and larger choirs, accompanied by piano or accordion, as well as beautiful a cappella performances. There’s something for everyone!
For just €4.00, you can enjoy a full day of music. You’ll receive a program booklet that also serves as your admission ticket to the concert hall. You can listen all day long or just pick a few performances to see.
You're also welcome to stop by the cozy bar for a cup of coffee, tea, soup with a sandwich, or any other beverage.
